Buy

Buy a business you can actually run.

We buy and operate service businesses ourselves. We also help first-time buyers get from search to closing without guessing.

Who this is for

Is this you?

  • You want to buy a service business and run it yourself, but you have never done a deal.
  • You are a searcher who is stuck at diligence, financing, or the letter of intent.
  • You are an owner who wants to sell to an operator who will keep the business running.
  • You are a lender, broker, or attorney who wants to know who is on the other side of the table.

What we do

The work, in plain terms.

  • We buy and run businesses

Northend acquires small service businesses and operates them. We know the work because we have done it.

  • Define what to buy

We help you set clear criteria: industry, size, location, and the kind of owner transition you can handle.

  • Screen deals

We read the numbers, question the add-backs, and flag risks early so you do not waste months on a bad fit.

  • Guide diligence

A practical checklist and a second set of eyes on customers, staff, contracts, equipment, and books.

  • Prepare for financing

We explain how SBA 7(a) financing works and help you pull together a clean, organized package for lenders.

  • Get to closing

We work alongside your attorney, CPA, broker, and lender, and keep the process moving through the finish.

How it works

One step at a time.

  1. 01

    Define the target

We agree on what a good fit looks like before you look at a single listing.

  2. 02

    Find and screen

We review opportunities and rule out the weak ones quickly.

  3. 03

    Diligence

We test the story: the books, the customers, the team, and the risks.

  4. 04

    Terms and financing

We help you understand the offer, the lender process, and what to bring to the table.

  5. 05

    Close and transition

We help plan the handoff so the first 90 days are calm, not chaotic.

FAQ

Common questions.

What kinds of businesses do you buy or help people buy?

Service businesses in South Florida, mostly with $1M to $10M in revenue. A service business earns money by doing work for customers: home services, field service, cleaning, pest control, landscaping, and similar trades and routes.

Do I need experience to buy a business?

No. First-time buyers are a big part of who we help. We are direct about the risks, because buying a business is a serious decision. A clear target, organized records, and good advisors matter more than prior experience.

What is SBA 7(a) financing?

SBA 7(a) is a loan program that the U.S. Small Business Administration partly guarantees. Banks and other lenders make the loans and decide who qualifies. We help you understand the process and prepare a clear, organized package. We cannot promise approval or terms.

How long does it take to buy a service business?

It varies. Many deals take several months from the first conversation to closing, because search, diligence, financing, and legal work each take time. A clear target and organized records usually speed things up.

What should I check before buying a service business?

Check the financials and add-backs, customer concentration, key employees, contracts, equipment, licenses, and why the owner is selling. We provide a practical diligence checklist and a second set of eyes. Your attorney and CPA should review the final documents.

Is this legal or financial advice?

No. Northend is not a law firm, accounting firm, or investment adviser. Bring your own attorney and CPA. We help you work through the process alongside them.
