1. Who we are
This website is run by Northend Capital LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Northend Capital," "we," or "us"). You can reach us at info@northendcapfl.com.
2. This website
- There are no accounts, sign-ins, or user profiles on this website.
- We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or tracking pixels.
- We do not load fonts, scripts, or other files from third-party services. The site serves its own files.
- Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of request. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.
- If you contact us through the contact form or by email, we receive the name, email address, and message you give us. We use them to reply to you and to run our business. We do not sell them or use them for advertising.
- If you book a call through our Google Calendar booking page, Google stores the name, email address, phone number, and answers you enter there. We use them only to hold and prepare for the call. They are kept in our Google Workspace account, and Google's own privacy policy applies to that page.
- If you call or text our business phone number, the call and any voicemail or transcript are handled by Google Voice and kept in our Google account. We use them only to reply to you and to run our business. We do not sell them or use them for advertising.
- When you use the contact form, your name, email address, topic, and message are sent to a Google Apps Script web app that runs in our Google Workspace account. It emails them to our inbox and stores nothing else. Google processes the request, and Google's own privacy policy applies to that step.
- Emails you send us are stored in our Google Workspace account.
2b. Data brokering services
This website does not collect or store client datasets. If a client chooses to license data, that is handled under a separate written agreement, never through this website. Cold email outreach for our data brokering service is sent from a separate domain and links back to our Data Brokering page.
3. Google user data and Gmail integrations
Who this covers
Northend Capital LLC operates internal software that connects to Gmail accounts owned and controlled by Macklin Mazzarella. It is not offered to the public. It does not access anyone else's Google account.
What it accesses and why
The software helps the owner clean up and manage his own inbox as part of running his acquisition, consulting, and deal-sourcing business. It reads message metadata and helps classify senders. In Gmail, it does these things, always for the owner's own account:
- Moves messages to Trash, and restores them.
- Creates and applies labels, for example
Archive/<domain>. - Archives messages, which removes them from the inbox and marks them read.
- Creates standing filters that send mail from specific sender addresses to Trash.
- Prepares reply drafts.
It never sends email. It cannot permanently delete messages. It also writes sender addresses, message counts, and sample subject lines to a private Google Sheet in the owner's own Google account.
It requests these Google OAuth scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly: read messages and settings.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify: read messages and make changes such as moving messages to trash. It does not permit immediate, permanent deletion.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.compose: create and update drafts.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.settings.basic: view and manage basic Gmail settings, which includes creating filters.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file: access only the Google Drive files the software creates or the owner opens with it.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets: read and write the private Google Sheet used for review.
The software works mainly with message metadata: sender, subject, date, and the short preview snippet that Gmail provides. A message body is read for a single message only when the owner asks for a reply draft, and only with the owner's approval. Email bodies are not stored. If this ever changes, we will update this page first.
Where the data is stored, and for how long
- Message metadata is processed on a computer owned and controlled by the owner and kept in a local database and local report files.
- A private Google Sheet in the owner's own Google account holds sender addresses, message counts, and sample subject lines for review.
- An encrypted backup of the report files is kept in the owner's Apple iCloud Drive as an encrypted disk image.
- This data is kept until the owner deletes it. Revoking the software's access does not delete data that is already stored. Records are kept after a cleanup so that past decisions can be audited.
- Messages moved to Gmail trash can be restored for about 30 days, until Google permanently removes them.
Outside services that handle the data
- The software itself does not send Gmail data to any AI model or other outside service, other than the owner's own Google Sheets and Google Drive.
- While the owner builds and oversees the tool, the owner views review results (sender, subject, and snippet) in Google Sheets and in a coding assistant, Claude Code by Anthropic.
- Backups go to Apple iCloud Drive as an encrypted disk image.
We do not share Google user data with anyone else. The model improvement setting on the owner's Anthropic account is turned off.
How we use and protect Google user data
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not use it for advertising.
- We do not allow humans to read it, other than the owner, except when needed for security, to comply with the law, or with the owner's consent.
- We do not use it to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Revoking access and deleting data
You can revoke access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access stops all further reading of Gmail, but it does not delete data that is already stored. To ask us to delete stored data, email info@northendcapfl.com.
Limited Use
Northend Capital LLC's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can read that policy at developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy.
4. Security practices
Information is encrypted in transit. Backups are encrypted. Access to the software and the data it handles is restricted to the owner. This website is served over HTTPS.
5. Children
This website and our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
